HIPPER BRAKES IS THE NEW OFFICIAL SUPPLIER OF STOCK CAR

The result of the company's quality and technological differentials, this achievement is highlighted in the advertising campaign, which opens with the participation of former driver Ingo Hoffmann, the biggest winner in the history of the category.

 

After taking over the country's streets and becoming a favorite among Brazilians, the award-winning Hipper Freios brand has conquered the tracks of one of the most traditional and important categories in national motorsport. In order to become the new official supplier of brake discs to the Stock Car Pro Series, one difference was decisive: Hipper Grinding's cross-grinding technology, recognized among the best in the world, which now brings all its safety to all the cars in the competition. In addition to the main category, the agreement also provides for the supply of the Stock Series, a category that trains talent and from which the champions of 14 of the last 20 titles in the main Stock Series have come.

To celebrate this important achievement, the “Technology has won one more” campaign was created, alluding to the innovation of the Sangão (SC) company's products, which makes all the difference in the market. Ingo Hoffmann, a former driver with an international career and the biggest winner in the history of Stock Car, with 12 titles, is the protagonist of the films and stepped into the spotlight during the recordings.

“We kept the humorous language that is characteristic of the brand's communication, showing that Hipper's technology has conquered Brazil and also the tracks, guaranteeing safety and peace of mind for drivers, pilots and mechanics”, explained Jefferson Pereira, the company's marketing manager. The campaign created by the 9mm agency is made up of three films, digital and printed materials, POS, podcasts and other face-to-face actions.

With an automotive theme, the films were produced at the Velocitta Autodrome, located in Mogi-Guaçu, in the countryside of São Paulo. Considered one of the best race tracks in Brazil, Velocitta is certified by the IAF - International Automobile Federation - and during the year hosts numerous stages of different categories of national motorsport.

“Hipper Freios has won yet another unquestionable recognition and further enhances the products that are already part of the daily lives of customers and consumers. After all, the same premium product that's in passenger cars is now also in cars that push hard and demand the maximum from the brake discs on the Stock Car tracks”, said Gilson João da Silva, the company's director-president.

“One of the aspects that really excited us about this new partnership is Hipper Freios' technological footprint, a company focus that is also driving the future of Stock Car”, said Fernando Julianelli, CEO of Vicar, the category's promoter. “It's important to have a brand like this investing in the category and accompanying us in the evolution that is underway. Next year we will be competing with a revolutionary car in terms of motorsport technology and it will be important to have a partner like Hipper Freios accompanying us in this transformation”, added Julianelli.

In addition to cross-grinding Hipper Grinding, which provides fast seating of the brakes and superior braking performance, in the exclusive case of Stock Car the brake discs are made from niobium alloy, a metal with extremely high mechanical and thermal resistance, used even in space rocket engines.

 

RENOWNED BRAND

The choice to be the official supplier of Stock Car Brasil consolidates a preference for Hipper Freios, measured by the main surveys carried out in the market in 2023. In the survey by O Mecânico magazine, in partnership with the Inteligência em Pesquisa e Consultoria (IPEC) institute, it led the way as the most frequently purchased brand, with 33% of the votes.

In the national Marcas na Oficina survey, carried out by CINAU (Central de Inteligência Automotiva), Hipper Freios shot to the top of the brands most commonly found among suppliers, with more than 20% more than the second-placed company. The index reached 48.39% market share. Hipper Freios also led for the third year in the “most remembered/trusted” item, with 37.10% of the votes.
